2012 Spring, Hunting Down the Best, Fastest Foresters and Planters

Well its that time again where we are hiring the best we can to do the best quality and product we can. We have another incredible season ahead with a variety of work experience that any tec or forester would want. If you want to work in an office indoor photocopying job, go to a mill and take that okay wage, but if you want to be pushed to learn, to be in the feild doing everything from research surveys, psp, regeneration surveys, pha’s, beetle surveys, superior tree measurements, herbicide monitoring, then send your application to us. Most of our work is production based with some heavy quality monitoring, as well as some intensive training. If you really want to learn something, are in good physical shape, and want a challenge, then send in your application. But it won’t be pretty, we work usually a 10 day in and 4 off, and we go to some pretty remote places sometimes. From High Level to Cold Lake, down to Nordegg, and up to Hinton.

As for our planting team we are going to be doing approximately 1.5 million trees with our small crew of 10-12 planters. Its going to be more than challenging to get done. But with the target to have only experienced planters that know what they are doing, I see no problems, last year we did 1.2 million so whats a few hundred grand more. Please only experienced planters apply, thx.

And for those of you summer students coming back, welcome back and hold on to your hats. Looks like a busy year with research surveys, as well as a variety of new expasion projects, so far we have lined up work with the mills in High Level, Grande Prairie, Hinton, Edson, Fort Vermillion, Drayton Valley, Whitecourt, Slave Lake, and Athabasca….busy. If you are interested please send an email, only Canadian residents need apply…sorry.
